Morgan Process & Mechanical Contractors has served the Southeast since 1971. We take ownership at every level and follow through without compromise — it’s why nine out of ten projects come from clients who’ve worked with us before.

Who We Are

Built for the region’s most demanding facilities.

Founded in 1971 by Jack and Jessie Morgan as Morgan Mechanical Contractors, the company was established to support the local market with piping and plumbing services. Over the following decades it grew with its customers — into fire sprinkler services, custom millwright work, and high-purity process systems.

Today, MPMC is uniquely built to serve North Carolina’s growing life sciences and semiconductor industries, while continuing its tradition of supporting clients in the automotive, industrial, and food & beverage manufacturing spaces.

We are headquartered in Eden, NC, with a second shop in Garner in the Research Triangle. Together they let us serve clients throughout the region and transport prefabricated work to any site.

Our History

From a family shop to a regional process leader.

Founded in 1971 by Jack and Jessie Morgan as Morgan Mechanical Contractors, the company was built to serve the local market with piping and plumbing — and grew over five decades into fire sprinkler, millwright, and high-purity process work.

    Morgan Mechanical founded

    Jack and Jessie Morgan start a small family-owned business focused on piping and plumbing.

  2. 2017

    A focused evolution

    Fire Sprinkler Service, LLC is separated into its own company, sharpening our focus on mechanical and process work.

  3. 2023

    MPMC is formed

    Morgan Process & Mechanical Contractors is founded through the acquisition of Morgan Mechanical Contractors.

  4. Today

    Two fabrication facilities

    Eden and Garner shops serve the Southeast’s life sciences, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing clients.
